“When time is short and resources are squeezed, it is vital that schools are choosing the options that have been tested and demonstrated positive outcomes in the past, to stack the odds that they will produce similar benefits again.”

Dr Jo Casebourne, Early Intervention Foundation Chief Executive.

Outreach Service

A Switch Coach to work in your school delivering either 1:1 or small group interventions tailored to your pupils’ needs.

By commissioning the Switch Midlands outreach programme, we can help those pupils who need targeted, specialist, early interventions. Our support addresses the essential components of personal development and emotional well-being, including relationships, self-confidence, self-efficiency, communication skills, positive mindset and attitude.

We will provide your pupils with opportunities to enjoy learning about and making informed decisions around their own personal development, behaviour, welfare and mental health. The essential components of our programmes target personal traits, motivation and guides conduct so that pupils reflect wisely, behave with integrity and cooperate consistently well with others.

Our programmes target:

  • Resilience
  • Managing emotions
  • Social responsibility
  • Decision making
  • Relationship skills
  • Positive communication
  • Resolving conflict
  • Staying safe

We are able to support pupils using our own evidence-based learning programmes, designed and delivered by our extremely experienced and trained staff, all of which hold enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding qualifications, plus a range of therapeutic intervention specialisms.
